I’m Doug — a retired USDA Rural Development professional with 36 years of service, now living full-time on a 270-acre farm in eastern North Carolina.
I’m here to inspire and assist others over 40 to pick up the tools, find purpose, and grow something meaningful — whether it’s a garden, a homestead, maybe some cooking, or a YouTube channel.
